Although the editor/writer of this blog is correct in pointing out poor quality wheels. There are many fake/copy wheels that are the same quality as OEM production wheels, and some copy wheels that exceed OEM standards. Who made the first BBS LM style wheel, because BBS, Work and SSR all make very similar wheels? So who is fake all 3 are excellent quality but 2 of them must be fake. Both Work and SSR make other similar wheels so which is fake?

I guess the issue should be make sure you buy quality, not just style!

To cast = To form (liquid metal, for example) into a particular shape by pouring into a mold.
To forge = a. To form (metal, for example) by heating in a forge and beating or hammering into shape.
b. To form (metal) by a mechanical or hydraulic press.

Monoblock = in engineering, refers to a casting or forging which is made in a single piece, rather than being fabricated

soooooo whats the diff then?

either way seems like a nice wheel to me for the cheaper price

I prefer the old RG, because it had a dark stripe where the spokes met the rim, which from a distance created a 3D look like as if the spokes weren't connected to the rim.
